licensing

Coolabi’s licensing division is headed by Janet Woodward who has over 16 years’ international experience in the industry. The portfolio, developed since Coolabi’s formation in 2004, targets a broad base of ages, demographics and media. Our emphasis is on IP ownership but we also represent properties for third parties where they enhance our offering.

The portfolio currently consists of Purple Ronnie, wholly-owned iconic gift and greetings brand; Scarlett and Crimson which is jointly owned with the creator and is aimed at 10 – 14 year old girls; iloveegg, a Korean-owned property which revolves around web-based flash animation for tweens and teens; Hammer Films, representing the classic UK Horror film studio with a large adult fan-base and Caillou the pre-school property based on the French Canadian book series proving a significant hit around the world which Coolabi represents on behalf of Cookie Jar.

Coolabi Licensing will be adding to the portfolio by acquiring existing properties and working with the creative community to build new, long term projects. We will develop and exploit our existing projects, researching and consulting with the target market and working with licensees and retailers to build long-lasting partnerships and significantly increase revenue.
